PURPOSE

-- to expose students to the uses of radiocarbon in ecology and earth system science.

- to educate about past, present, and future changes in the global carbon cycle and the relationship to climate change.

PARTICIPANTS

This class is the result of a collaborative effort by the Keck Carbon Cycle Accelerator Mass Spectrometer facility at the University of California, Irvine and the Ecosystem Dynamics Research Lab at the University of Florida.

We would like to thank the National Science Foundation and the National Aeronautics and Space Agency for funding the development of this course.
