ACCOMODATIONS
People from out of town will be staying in campus apartments called the Hotel UCI. These furnished apartments will be shared by 4 people and have a full kitchen plus internet access. Cost is approximately $25/person per night.

Hotel UCI is labelled Campus Village Housing on the map (see below). There is a main office/rec area in the middle of the housing complex. This office is staffed and will provide you with a key and directions to your apartment. If you are being picked up by us at the airport, you will get your key from us.

TRANSPORTATION
The most convenient airport for travel is the Santa Ana/John Wayne Airport (SNA). This is 5-10 minutes from campus. It is possible to fly to LAX (but not recommended). If you do make a ticket to LAX, you will be responsible for arranging your own transportation to UCI. There are airport shuttles from LAX that can be reserved online (http://www.supershuttle.com/htm/cities/lax.htm) and it takes at least 1 hour and $50 to make the trip one way.

For those people traveling from out of town, make sure that you have sent your flight itinerary to Ted Schuur. There will be a vehicle to pick you up at the John Wayne/ Santa Ana Orange County Airport at your arrival time. If you run into any flight delays, please call 352-275-1869 to update your arrival time.

For those people driving from out of town, please go directly to the Hotel UCI and ask about parking. Or for information in advance, please look at the UCI parking website.
